Dordt University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Juvenile Justice during the Spring 2020 semester. The course covers theories of juvenile deviance and will examine the history and philosophy of the treatment of juveniles in the criminal justice system. Promising alternatives rooted in a biblical reconciliation worldview will be included. Problems such as gangs, drug usage and school violence will also be explored.

A master's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology or a related field is required. Professional experience with the juvenile population is preferred. Preference will be given to those with college teaching experience.
