Start date: January 2020 

The Professional-Technical Education Program seeks an adjunct to teach AgOp 221: Precision Agriculture during the Spring 2020 semester. This course offers introduces the framework for understanding global positioning systems and the newest components and technologies used in precision agriculture. Topics include different types of GPS, data collection and management, variable rate technology, precision planter components, yield monitors, GIS systems and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. 

Candidates should have excellent communication skills and expertise in precision agriculture. This course meets twice a week within an extended time block that allows for hands-on activities, beginning January 9. bachelor's degree in agriculture with significant industry experiences and certifications is preferred. An associate degree is required. Preference will be given to those with college teaching experience.
